Ioane '100%' for quarter-final

Wellington - Influential Wallabies wing Digby Ioane has pronounced himself "100 percent" fit and available for selection for Sunday's Rugby World Cup quarter-final against South Africa.

Ioane, who plays a critical role in both Australia's attacking and defensive strategies, hasn't played since breaking his thumb in a pool match against Italy three weeks ago. His role as an inside channel defender in place of flyhalf Quade Cooper has been particularly hard to fill.

But Wellington-born Ioane told reporters on Tuesday he is fit and eager to return, saying he's "100 percent".

Ioane added, "I'll be doing full training this week so I'll be up there for selection. I'm just ready to play."
