Johannesburg - Springbok forwards coach Gary Gold says they are doing their homework on the Northern Hemisphere's referees that will officiate in their games at the Rugby World Cup.
"We are duly aware of the way in which they (The Northern Hemisphere's referees) handle matches. It still differs quite a lot from how it's done in the Southern Hemisphere.
"It's especially at the breakdown where the law is interpreted differently. Hopefully, at the World Cup, they'll all be singing from the same hymnal.
"Still, we cannot take any chances, and we have to do a thorough analysis of how each referee interprets the rules," said Gold.
The controversial Frenchman, Romain Poite - who handled last weekend's Heineken Cup final - is precisely one of the referees with whom the Boks will cross swords at the World Cup.
