Auckland - If the All Blacks and French win their respective semi-finals to meet for the second time in a Rugby World Cup final, Les Bleus have graciously waived their right to be the 'home team' if they win the coin toss, according to the allblacks.com website.
The 2007 World Cup quarter-final between the two countries saw France win the toss and opt to play in their home kit.
Some conspiracy theorists believed that Les Bleus became “Les Bleus Noir” and opted to use a darker shade on their jerseys, forcing the All Blacks to wear an away strip - playing in a grey jersey in Cardiff four years ago.
However this time round French team manager Jo Maso said that there will be no repeat of this were the two teams to progress this weekend and replay the 1987 final, where the All Blacks won 29-9.
France would wear a white away strip.
Maso said France had to much respect for the All Blacks, while acknowledging it would be fitting to allow the World Cup hosts to wear their traditional strip in their own backyard.
