'What SOS have I sent?' - Coetzee

Cape Town - Springbok coach Allister Coetzee has denied requesting more coaching staff.

The Rapport newspaper reported earlier on in the week that Coetzee sent a request asking for more coaching staff in secret.

But the former Stormers boss said that it was a rumour conjured up by the media.

"What SOS have I sent? ... That’s something you guys (the media) have created. I don’t read the papers, so I don’t know what you’re talking about," Coetzee told SA Rugby Magazine.

"I’m happy with what we’ve got right here at the moment in terms of coaches. If I had a problem with my coaches I would let them know and I would let SA Rugby know."
