Cape Town - Wallabies coach Michael Cheika has revealed that he has been receiving hate mail from angry Australian fans.
The Wallabies were smashed 54-34 by the All Blacks in Sydney in this past Saturday's Rugby Championship opener, and that followed a disappointing season for Australia's Super Rugby franchises.
Australia have also slipped down the fifth in the World Rugby rankings, below South Africa, after the New Zealand clash.
It doesn't get any easier for Cheika, who is now preparing his side for the return fixture against the All Blacks in Dunedin this Saturday.
According to New Zealand website Stuff, Cheika has had a tough week since going down to the Kiwis at him.
"I have certainly had some of my own hate mail to deal with," Cheika is quoted as saying on the website.
"I am not sure how they get my email address but they happen to, or a phone number. But you have to roll with that stuff mate, you have to deal with it.
"There's only one way that can change. Nothing that happens from Monday to Friday. The only way these things change is on the field."
Kick-off on Saturday is at 09:35 (SA time).
