Owens to ref Wallabies v Boks

Cape Town - Welshman Nigel Owens will referee Saturday’s Rugby Championship Test between Australia and South Africa in Brisbane (kick-off 12:05 SA time).

Owens will be assisted by England’s Wayne Barnes and Frenchman Pascal Gauzere, with New Zealand’s Ben Skeen the television match official (TMO).

Meanwhile, South Africa’s Craig Joubert will referee the earlier game between New Zealand and Argentina in Hamilton (09:35 SA time).

Joubert will be assisted by Australia’s Angus Gardner and Italy’s Marius Mitrea, with Aussie George Ayoub in the TMO booth.
