Joubert takes dig at Bok coaching

Cape Town - Former Springbok fullback Andre Joubert was not happy with what he saw from his former team at the weekend.

Allister Coetzee’s Springboks suffered a humiliating 41-13 loss to the All Blacks in Christchurch on Saturday.

The lopsided 28-point margin of victory tied the third biggest in the history of Tests between the two nations.

Joubert, who played 34 Tests for the Boks between 1989 and 1997, was not impressed and took to Twitter to take a subtle dig at the Bok coaching staff:

The All Blacks have already secured the Rugby Championship trophy, but Joubert feels they haven't been tested against mediocre opposition in South Africa and Australia.

England has been a resurgent force under Eddie Jones and will prove a real test for the All Blacks, Joubert feels.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
