Cape Town - The pressure is well and truly on the Springboks ahead of their Rugby Championship clash against Australia in Brisbane on Saturday, and it seems that the public is seriously doubting their ability to pull off the win.
According to a Sport24 poll, which attracted over 2 000 voters in under 24 hours, the Springboks will lose.
74% of the voters feel that the Wallabies will emerge victorious.
Even more revealing was that 52% of the voters believe that the Boks will lose convincingly - by more than 7 points - while 22% believe Australia will win by 7 points or less.
Only 24% of the voters think that the Springboks will win at Suncorp Stadium - 16% anticipating the victory margin to be 7 points or less while just 8% think South Africa will win by 7 or more.
There is also a small group of 2% who think that a draw is the likeliest result.
Based on these predictions, that wouldn't be the worst result in the world for the Boks...
Kick-off on Saturday is at 12:05 (SA time).
