All Blacks done talking about Smith

Durban - All Black coach Steve Hansen was not in any mood to engage questions on suspended scrumhalf Aaron Smith on Thursday.

Smith was dropped from the New Zealand squad following information that he had disappeared into a disabled toilet in a Christchurch airport with a woman the day after his side's 41-13 win over the Springboks on September 17.

Hansen, when asked about how Smith's suspension had impacted his plans for the week, would not open up.

"We've said what we have to say on that," he said.

"We had the meeting on Tuesday and that's what happened."

Hansen confirmed that s replacement scrumhalf would not be called up as emergency cover for this Saturday's clash in Durban.

TJ Perenara will start in the No 9 jersey while Tawera Kerr-Barlow will take up a place on the bench.

If anything happens to either of these players before Saturday, Hansen confirmed that Chiefs fullback Damian McKenzie would have to play scrumhalf.
