Three try hero Juan Imhoff wins the man of the match award!
Springbok rugby in crisis weeks before RWC. Pollard off form. Jean not our best centre. Heyneke not brave enough to pick youngsters. CRISIS.— Adriaan Basson (@AdriaanBasson) August 8, 2015

Just a mess. Can't think of a single redeeming feature. But knowing the journey the Pumas have walked, they deserve every kudos.— Clinton van der Berg (@ClintonV) August 8, 2015

Congratulations to @unionargentina for a first ever test win over the #Springboks. Score 37-25
FULL TIME IN DURBAN
That's it folks! Argentina have beaten the Springboks for the first time in 20 attempts!
They were really up for it today and the Boks were well below average.
South Africa 25 Argentina 37
78' - TRY to South Africa
Habana is over in the corner. Too little too late however.
76' - YELLOW CARD for Matera
The Argentinian is sent to the bin for a high tackle.
APOLOGIES FOR TECHNICAL ISSUES
Sorry Bok fans, due to technical issues connections were affected. We are back however.
The news is not good.
Argentina lead the Springboks by 37 - 20 with 13 minutes left.
42' - TRY to Argentina!
South Africa have been caught cold here. The ref calls time on, the Boks are sleeping behind their own line and the Imhoff gets the ball to casually waltz over the line. Hernandez converts.
South Africa 13 Argentina 34
Big first half by Argentina. They deserve the lead. Boks have been poor.Basic mistakes, missed tackles, tactical kicking.Basically everything— Brenden Nel (@BrendenNel) August 8, 2015

As @Oom_Rugby suggests, this is proper prop school. Koch must stay on and pay his school fees. Vital for his development— Front Row Grunt (@FrontRowGrunt) August 8, 2015

HALF TIME IN DURBAN
South Africa have been very poor so far today, but credit to Argentina, they have run the ball extremely well and been rewarded with 3 tries.
The Boks have it all to do in the second half.
South Africa 13 Argentina 27
40' - Penalty slotted by Bosch!
Different kicker, same result!
39' - Penalty converted by Hernandez!
No mistake from the Argentinian pivot as he slots the ball between the uprights.
South Africa 13 Argentina 24
38' - Conversion slotted by Pollard!
South Africa narrow the gap before half-time. Some harsh words will be spoken in the dressing room however!
South Africa 13 Argentina 21
36' - TRY to South Africa!
De Jager crashes over for the home side! The Boks are finally on the board try-wise.
South Africa 11 Argentina 21
33' - Conversion added by Hernandez!
South Africa's day goes from bad to worse! Thats three tries they have conceded in half-an-hour!
South Africa 6 Argentina 21
31' - TRY to Argentina!
Imhoff has a brace! This time he is sent away down the blind-side by Cubelli.
South Africa 6 Argentina 19
29' - Penalty converted by Pollard.
The gap is cut to 8 points, but South Africa look far from convincing.
South Africa 6 Argentina 14
25' - Conversion slotted by Hernandez!
South Africa 3 Argentian 14
24' - TRY to Argentina!
Imhoff is having a blinder as he gets in under the posts after great play by Cubelli.
South Africa 3 Argentina 12
10' - PENALTY slotted by Pollard.
No mistake from the South African pivot as he put South Africa on the board.
South Africa 3 Argentina 7
3' - Conversion slotted by Hernandez
South Africa 0 Argentina 7
2' - TRY to Argentina!
What a start from the visitors as they are on the board early. Le Roux was caught in possession very close to the Bok line. Pienaar cleared upfield but a brilliant break by Imhoff gets Bosch away and in for a try.
South Africa 0 Argentina 5
Lambie misses his conversion from the touchline. The final whistle soon follows as Argentina begin the celebrations. A fine win.
TRY, SOUTH AFRICA, HABANA. 25-37. The Boks have a late consolation score in Durban as Habana crosses wide on the left.
YELLOW CARD, ARGENTINA, MATERA. A high tackle sees the flank go to the bin where he will watch the rest of the match.
The replacement scrum-half taps quickly ten metres out and is over for a try. Or is he? Poite checks with the TMO whether he tapped from the correct point. He didn't so we come back to the mark.
Chaparro is replaced by Matias Diaz for the closing stages. He has had an excellent game at tighthead. More defending to do for the Pumas here though as Lambie spins into contact on halfway.
Huge tackles going in from the Pumas on halfway as South Africa look to make inroads. Eventually it forces the error as the Boks knock-on. Argentina scrum then as time ticks on.
Argentina also use their bench as Martin Landajo and Tomas Lezana come on while Bok back-row Coetzee limps off, replaced by Lwazi Mvovo as De Allende moves to flank. Pumas ball 30 out.
Pollard's restart going out on the full does not improve their mood as jeers are evident. Lambie is being readied off the bench.
DROP-GOAL, ARGENTINA, BOSCH. 20-37. Smart play to put South Africa three scores behind. Kings Park is not happy.
More good news for Argentina here as Marcel van der Merwe is penalised at scrum time. This one will go up to the Bok 22 via Hernandez's boot. Can they put the Boks out of range here?
Now it's a forward pass from Le Roux to Habana on halfway that costs the Boks. Pienaar is replaced by Cobus Reinach.
Du Plessis now knocks-on and that will be the hooker's last act as Adriaan Strauss comes on for a Pumas scrum on their own 22.
First Pollard, now Du Plessis with the error as he overthrows his line-out. Argentina clear soon after via Bosch up to halfway.
That's a mistake from Pollard from a penalty as he fails to find touch, with the Pumas' clearing kick pushing the Bok line-out back to just outside the 22. Still a dangerous position though.
CONVERSION, SOUTH AFRICA, POLLARD. 20-34. Wonderful kick.
TRY, SOUTH AFRICA, LE ROUX. 18-34. A breakout score for the Boks as Kriel runs well before offloading to Le Roux who sprints over from 35 metres out in the corner.
They won't get it as Mtawarira clearly goes off his feet at the ruck so the Pumas can clear with ease.
Tomas Lavanini has taken Burger high off the ball so it's a penalty for South Africa which goes into the 22. They desperately need a try here.
CONVERSION, ARGENTINA, HERNANDEZ. 13-34. A fine kick from the touchline as the lead is now up to 21 points.
TRY, ARGENTINA, IMHOFF. 13-32. It's a hat-trick for the left wing as Sanchez taps quickly to find Imhoff unopposed for the try.
Welcome back to this entertaining match as Argentina kick-off. They soon have it back and set up camp in the Springbok 22.
PENALTY, ARGENTINA, BOSCH. 13-27. Another scrum penalty against Koch and Bosch makes him pay from the halfway line. What a first-half performance from the Pumas.
PENALTY, ARGENTINA, HERNANDEZ. 13-24. Obstruction from Mtawarira at the restart gift wraps three points to the Pumas.
CONVERSION, SOUTH AFRICA, POLLARD. 13-21. Easy extras.
TRY, SOUTH AFRICA, DE JAGER. 11-21. They have a try as Lood de Jager rolls off the back of that line-out before reaching over.
It's all South Africa at the moment as De Villiers goes close. They have a penalty and this one will be dabbed into the corner.
CONVERSION, ARGENTINA, HERNANDEZ. 6-21. Superb kick.
TRY, ARGENTINA, IMHOFF. 6-19. He's got a double. Senatore off the back of the scrum to Cubelli blind who sets up his wing on the left.
PENALTY, SOUTH AFRICA, POLLARD. 6-14. Argentina prop Chaparro doesn't let Pollard get to his feet. He does in the end to send over three points that reduces the margin to eight points.
Something to cling to for South Africa as Brussow pounces at the ruck, which leads to Pollard punting them up to the Pumas 22.
CONVERSION, ARGENTINA, HERNANDEZ. 3-14. Easy kick.
TRY, ARGENTINA, IMHOFF. 3-12. Excellent. Cubelli sets up Imhoff for the run-in next to the uprights. South Africa are in trouble.
It's deja vu. Again Ayerza wins a scrum penalty against Koch and this time Hernandez misses from wide out. Points going begging here.
Ayerza is dominant over Koch right now as he wins a kickable penalty for his side 40 metres out. Up steps Hernandez who pushes it to the right. South Africa get lucky there.
Wow. Argentina win a scrum against the head with a massive shove. They are in possession on the Springbok ten-metre now.
Unlucky for Pollard as he finds a hole 20 out but that gap was created by obstruction elsewhere. Hernandez clears from the penalty.
Hernandez is just wide with an attempted drop-goal. Smart decision though.
PENALTY, SOUTH AFRICA, POLLARD. 3-7. No mistake.
South Africa have an attacking scrum 20 metres out with plenty of room either side to work with. Well, it won't come out as Ayerza is penalised so up will step Pollard with the kicking tee.
This time the Pumas are penalised at the ruck so it's the Boks moving into opposition territory. They will hope to respond here.
Juan Manuel Leguizamon pounces at the breakdown so it's more field position for Argentina. They throw 30 metres out.
CONVERSION, ARGENTINA, HERNANDEZ. 0-7. Simple two.
TRY, ARGENTINA, BOSCH. 0-5. Good work from Imhoff as he brings down Willie le Roux five metres from his own line. Ruan Pienaar clears to his ten-metre but then Imhoff breaks again, this time setting up centre Marcelo Bosch for the opening try.
After two superb anthems, we're set for kick-off. Handre Pollard gets us going to his left before the Pumas clear through Hernandez.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of South Africa versus Argentina at Kings Park in Durban. These two teams enter on the back of back-to-back losses in the competition so will be eager to get the W today. The Boks are favourites to do so.
Jean de Villiers will captain a Springbok side also featuring the return of Pieter-Steph du Toit and Siya Kolisi in the matchday 23 for the first time since 2013. Jesse Kriel moves to the wing.
Juan Martin Hernandez will start at fly-half as boss Daniel Hourcade makes 11 changes in all to his starting line-up, with Juan Imhoff the only survivor in the backline from the team that lost to Australia. Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro replaces the injured Ramiro Herrera at tighthead while in the second-row, Guido Petti and Tomas Lavanini will form a young lock pairing. It's all change in the back-row, with starts for Pablo Matera, Juan Manuel Leguizamon and Leonardo Senatore. Tomas Cubelli is preferred to Martin Landajo at scrum-half.
