Cape Town - Springbok flank Keegan Daniel on Monday missed the team's training session after being bitten by a spider on Sunday.
Springbok team doctor Craig Roberts confirmed the news to SAPA on Monday.
"We have no idea where it came from, but Keegan reported to me that he had a stiffness in his arm. He's responded well to antibiotics and was feeling much better today (Monday) than yesterday."
Daniel is expected to play off the bench against Argentina at Newlands on Saturday. Should he be unavailable, either Siya Kolisi or Jacques Potgieter could be picked on the bench.
Pierre Spies, Willem Alberts and Marcell Coetzee are expected to make up the Bok starting loose trio.
