Cape Town - Cheetahs pivot Johan Goosen looks likely to start at flyhalf for the Springboks in their next Rugby Championship Test against Australia.
Rapport reported on Sunday that Goosen is expected to be included ahead of the struggling Morné Steyn for Saturday's Test at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.
Bok coach Heyneke Meyer on Saturday also included Lions flyhalf Elton Jantjies as the third No 10 in the squad. However, despite the in-form Jantjies's presence, Steyn is still expected to be included on the bench against the Wallabies.
Steyn's poor goal-kicking cost the Springboks dearly in their last Test against the All Blacks in Dunedin, which the Boks lost 21-11 despite dominating much of the game.
Other additions to the 30-man Bok squad were Lions utility back Jaco Taute and props CJ van der Linde and Coenie Oosthuizen.
The clash at Loftus kicks off at 17:00 on Saturday, with the Boks concluding their Rugby Championship campaign the next week against the All Blacks in Soweto.
