Barnes to ref Boks v All Blacks

Cape Town - England's Wayne Barnes will take charge of the Springboks' Rugby Championship clash against the All Blacks at Ellis Park on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 17:05.

This will be Barnes' 10th Test involving South Africa. The Springboks have won six and lost three of the previous Tests. The last time he refereed South Africa was against France in November 2013 at the Stade de France in Paris. The Boks won 19-10.

Barnes will be assisted by Pascal Gauzère of France and England's JP Doyle. The TMO will be England's Graham Hughes.

The other Rugby Championship clash this weekend between Argentina and Australia will be blown by Wales' Nigel Owens.

Owens' assistant referees will be Craig Joubert (South Africa) and Leighton Hodges (Wales). Deon van Blommestein (South Africa) will be the TMO.
