Cape Town - Rassie Erasmus is adamant he won’t coach the SA Under-20 side nor aid the Springboks as a technical advisor on their end-of-year Grand Slam tour.
It was reported last week that Erasmus was one of the coaches contacted by Peter de Villiers when it appeared assistant coaches Gary Gold and Dick Muir were in the firing line.
It was alleged that Erasmus turned down an offer, although reports on Monday suggested he would be taking up the Bok post.
But, according to the Keo website, Erasmus has told The Cape Times that he knows nothing of an offer and that the position is just media speculation. He said he remains committed to the Stormers and WP and is contracted until 2012.
It is believed that Erasmus never applied for the post of SA Under-20 coach.
Rob Wagner, MD WP Rugby (Pty) Ltd, said: WP Rugby Senior Professional coach, Rassie Erasmus, is contracted to WP Rugby until the end of 2012 and will not be leaving WP to take up a coaching position with SARU.
"Rassie is committed to WP Rugby and is a valued and respected member of the coaching staff. The rumours of a rift and an imminent move have absolutely no basis."
"There will be no further comment on the matter," Wagner concluded.
