Cape Town - The Glasgow Warriors were too strong for the Cheetahs in PRO14 action on Friday night despite missing a number of first team players.

With 11 first team regulars on Six Nations duty, the Warriors ran in five tries to secure a comfortable 37-23 win over the men from Bloemfontein.

The Cheetahs were in the contest for the most part and went into half time trailing 15-10, but they ran out of steam in the last quarter.

The Cheetahs are still third in Conference A, looking good to make the tournament play-offs in their maiden season.

They play Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium next week Sunday.
