Cape Town - Springbok and Cheetahs centre Francois Venter is being linked with a move to English side Worcester Warriors.
According to Netwerk24, Venter is in high demand in countries like Ireland, Wales and France, but he could decide to make England his new home.
Should Venter decide on Worcester, he would join up with current Cheetahs coach Rory Duncan.
Duncan was recently announced as Worcester’s head coach and will leave the Cheetahs after the completion of the current PRO14 campaign.
There is already a strong South African flavour at Worcester, with former Springbok assistant coach Alan Solomons serving as the club’s director of rugby.
Scott van Breda, Cornell du Preez, Anton Bresler, Wynand Olivier, Nick Schonert, Gerrit-Jan van Velze, Dewald Potgieter and Francois Hougaard are already on Worcester’s books.
