Bloemfontein - Springbok and Cheetahs flank Oupa Mohoje believes Sharks counterpart and national team-mate Marcell Coetzee is one of the toughest loose forwards to square up to.
Mohoje, who made his Super Rugby debut for the Cheetahs last season before going on to play seven Tests for the Springboks, has played against some of the best players in world rugby.
When asked who has been the toughest opponent he's come up against, Mohoje was quick to single out fellow Springbok loose forward Coetzee, who has been in fine form.
"I've played against many great players, but I must say, I had a tough time against Marcell," Mohoje told MyPlayers.co.za.
"He's a very good player and is in your face all the time. Whether it's at the breakdowns or with ball in hand, he's on you.
"He's quick on his feet and covers so much ground on the field. When he's not making a big impact on defence, he is making those vital carries with ball in hand. That’s what makes him so tough as an opponent."
Mohoje added that Coetzee is a good guy on and off the field.
"Away from rugby, Marcell is a great guy to speak to," said Mohoje. "It's been great playing alongside him at international level."
The two will duel on the opening weekend of Super Rugby when the Sharks host the Cheetahs in Durban on Saturday, February 14.
