Pretoria - Two Springbok players were cited by citing officer Steve Hinds of New Zealand for foul play following South Africa's 28-25 victory in the second Test against the British and Irish Lions at Loftus Versfeld.

Flanker Schalk Burger was cited for an act contrary to good sportsmanship by allegedly attacking Lions wing Luke Fitzgerald's eyes in the first minute of the Test. Burger was yellow carded by French referee Christophe Berdos for the offence.

Lock forward Bakkies Botha was cited for a dangerous charge in the fourth minute of the second half on Lions prop Adam Jones.

Both players will appear before judicial officer Alan Hudson at the Blue Bulls Rugby Union offices in Pretoria on Sunday.
