I'm assuming Hollenbach and Jantjies are injured or being rested?

      Lionel - 2012-01-24 15:42

Jantjies I know is injured, hollenbach, not to sure!!!!!!!!

  • Melvin - 2012-01-24 15:42

wouldn't call this a full strength lions side? elton, cj, hollenbach, rhodes and wickus are all out injured, all of those guys i've mentioned started in the lions currie cup final victory. cant read anything into these warmups, i recall the lions thumping the sharks last year in a warmup and then struggling in the super15. cant understand supersport televising boland vs a 'weakened' stormers team, and not televising this game?

  • Koos - 2012-01-24 15:54

taute jou doring!!!!!!! lots of new faces!!! i like where this is going!!!! unpredictable!!!! nice!!!!!!!

      Taetjo - 2012-01-24 18:43

LOL! Watch out for Lionel Mapoe at center. Watch out!

  • nelius.vantonder - 2012-01-24 17:00

Okes...where's Hollenbach??? He proved and deserved his start in the 12/13 positions last year are we still doubting him?? Play Doppies at inside and Hollenbach at outside...Doppies is a workhorse (like any good inside should be) and Hollenbach has amazing flare! Why are we testing Mapoe (who is a FANTASTIC wing) at centre against the likes of Juan de Jong...de Jong is toooo dangerous in the midfield...I can not say I agree with this move but I guess Mitchell has a plan.

      Taetjo - 2012-01-24 18:43

I think he is injured man. He'll be back. I liked his combination at center with Lionel Mapoe. It was awesome hey.

      Taetjo - 2012-01-24 18:44

Remember that Tana Umaga was an awesome wing and when he switched to center, he was an even more lethal a player... Mapoe will do the same . Watch this space.
