Cape Town - Cheetahs coach Naka Drotské has given forgotten flank Kabamba Floors the chance to prove his fitness for the Currie Cup season.
Floors, 31, hasn't played rugby for more than a year after a serious knee injury in last year's Super Rugby competition. His contract at the Cheetahs expired last year but Drotské's lifeline has given Floors a second chance.
Should he impress the Free State brains-trust, he could be handed a new contract for the Currie Cup season.
“Kabamba has to show he is fit and that his knee is 100% ready so that he can play in the Currie Cup. Then we'll talk about a contract," Drotské told Volksblad.
