Is it Green & Gold or greens & golf?

Cape Town - Answer: Nick Mallett:

The two former Springbok coaches were seen playing golf during the Cadiz Steenberg Classic at Steenberg Golf Estate.

The new Sharks Director of Rugby will be happy with the way his new team dispatched of WP in the Currie Cup final and will hope for more of the same next year in the Super Rugby competition.

Besides being golfing buddies and former Springbok coaches, the pair have a few more things in common...

Both were passed over for international duty in the past couple of years, with Mallett losing out on the England coaching job to Stuart Lancaster and White being given the thumbs down by the Wallabies in favour of Ewen McKenzie.

Both coaches are also not shy to speak their minds, something that may have gotten them both dismissed from the Springbok coaching job!

No doubt the two coaches had plenty to discuss, with current coach Heyneke Meyer naming his Springbok team this week, Jaque Fourie, Bakkies Botha and JP Pietersen back into the fold, rumours of Victor Matfield's return for the Bulls and White's Brumbies successor Stephen Larkham being named.
