Dublin - Captain Jamie Heaslip, tighthead prop Mike Ross and scrumhalf Conor Murray are the only Ireland players receiving a second straight start for the non-cap match with Fiji at Lansdowne Road on Saturday.

The trio began the 16-12 home loss to South Africa last weekend, when a 12-3 lead was blown.

Ireland hopes to end a run of five straight losses by saving most of their best personnel for the Test with Argentina next week.

Ireland have won their last three matches against Fiji, who lost to England and Gloucester on tour.

Ireland will start three new backs, flyhalf Paddy Jackson, inside centreLuke Marshall, and left winger Craig Gilroy. Another uncapped back, Paul Marshall, is in the reserves. Three others will start their second match.

"We know it will be a difficult Test and this is a vote of confidence for the players we've picked," Ireland coach Declan Kidney said. "We know they'll do a job and they've been training really well over the last two and a half weeks. We feel they deserve their go".
