Giteau extends Toulon stay

Paris - Australian centre Matt Giteau on Thursday signed a two-year extension to his contract with big-spending French Top 14 side Toulon, a club spokesperson said.

The 30-year-old Giteau, who arrived in the summer of 2011, joined French international Alexis Palisson, who has signed for an additional three years, in putting pen to paper.

Toulon currently lead the Top 14 and face Bayonne on Saturday.
