Cape Town - Former Springbok flyhalf André Pretorius is set to end his career in France after signing with ProD2 club Carcassonne.
According to the Rugby365 website, the 35-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the French side after spending the last two years at the Leopards.
Leopards president André May lauded Pretorius for his the impact he's had at the Potchefstroom-based union.
"André has had a massive impact in the last two seasons, not only on the field, but also in his professional approach to mentoring the younger players in the side.
"We could have kept him in his contract but it is about keeping André's best interests in mind not only as a player but also as a person," said May.
Pretorius played 31 Tests for the Springboks, with his last international appearance coming in November 2007.
