Ex-All Black faces career end

Agen - Former All Black fullback Ben Blair could be forced to retire after failing to recover from a knee injury which has prevented him from making his debut for French side Agen.

Blair, 33, who played four times for New Zealand, moved to Agen in the summer after six seasons with the Cardiff Blues.

Agen manager Philippe Sella told the Sud Ouest newspaper that Blair has undergone a series of medical tests which could lead to a contract separation.
