Entries open for CT 10s

Cape Town - Cape Town 10s, the world’s biggest Tens rugby tournament, along with recently announced headline sponsor takealot.com, have opened up team entries for rugby and netball players for the 2015 event!

The massive sports and entertainment festival will be taking place for the 7th consecutive year on February 6-7, 2015 at Hamilton’s Rugby Club in Green Point, Cape Town. Bigger and better than ever, the event will see 100 rugby teams and 50 netball teams take part in what has become the biggest social sporting event in the country.

Rugby teams will be spread over 6 divisions – the Light Beer, Heavy Beer, We’re Mainly Here for Beer, Veterans Division, Tag Rugby Division and a newly formed Masters Division to ensure players of all ability can take part. The Netball division will be bigger and more competitive with 50 teams spread over 5 divisions including a Premier, Vets, two Social and a Mixed division.

Rugby and netball teams can enter online at www.capetowntens.com. Basic entry package includes: a two day festival entry pass to the tournament and beer tent, seven guaranteed games, custom designed kit, limited edition 2015 takealot.com Cape Town 10s participation vest, Food Lover's Market food vouchers and cool drinks, physio services, massage services, drinks vouchers, goodie bags, Jacuzzi zone, prizes, a selection of awesome local and international bands and access to Africa’s biggest beer tent.

For the first time, Tens has opened up a VIP upgrade option for teams which will allow rugby and netball players to rub shoulders with local and international rugby Legends and celebs in the VIP area, their own private bar, food services, golden circle access to the entertainment in the beer tent, comfortable resting areas, team physios and strapping services, private waitrons and overall rock star treatment. VIP teams will also be given the opportunity to bid on their favourite Rugby Legend to join or captain their team!
