Louw lets slip Pietersen pick

Cape Town - Former Springbok flank Rob Louw has tweeted the news that Stormers fullback Joe Pietersen has been called up to the Springbok training squad.

Louw on Monday wrote: @JoePietersen so happy 4 my surf buddy called up to training camp. All hard work paying off. Geluk

There has however been no official release from SARU on the matter.

The Springboks are struggling with several injuries ahead of the third and final Test against England in Port Elizabeth, with lock Juandré Kruger (neck), flank Willem Alberts (knee) and fullback Pat Lambie (ankle) all in a race to be fit for Saturday.

In addition, Frans Steyn will miss the Test due to his wedding.
