Groom-to-be Steyn out of Test

Cape Town - Springbok inside centre Frans Steyn will miss the third and final Test against England in Port Elizabeth on Saturday because it clashes with his wedding day.

The Boks take a winning 2-0 lead into the game at the 40 000-capacity Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium after victories by 22-17 in Durban two weeks ago and 36-27 in Johannesburg this weekend.

A South African Rugby Union (SARU) spokesperson said second Test injuries to fullback Patrick Lambie (ankle), lock Juandre Kruger (neck) and flank Willem Alberts (knee) were being assessed ahead of a team announcement on Wednesday.

Steyn earlier this year notified Bok coach Heyneke Meyer that he would miss the Port Elizabeth Test.
