England crush Barbarians

London - Wing Chris Ashton rediscovered his scoring touch with a Twickenham hat-trick as England warmed up for their tour of South Africa with a comfortable 57-36 victory over the Barbarians on Sunday.

The hosts ran in eight tries to the Barbarians' four.

England will play three Tests against the Springboks, starting in Durban on June 9, followed by Tests in Johannesburg (June 16) and Port Elizabeth (June 23).

    Not too worried. The Barbarians team wasn't that impressive anyways.

    There will be a whole lot more power, skill, class and style to contend with by the England rugby side when they run out against the Bokke in the Republic. For most of those young rugby players it's going to be like stepping into another dimension. Well! that's aside from the South African players in the England side.
