Jantjies's Cape move confirmed

Cape Town - Lions flyhalf Elton Jantjies's loan move to the Stormers for next year's Super Rugby competition has been confirmed.

Western Province Rugby Union president Thelo Wakefield confirmed the news to the keo.co.za website.

"I approved his contract before the weekend," Wakefield said. "Elton’s inclusion will be a big boost for the team."

It is also well documented that the WP union's aim is to try convince the Springbok flyhalf to extend his stay in Cape Town.

With Demetri Catrakilis off to the Kings and uncertainty regarding Peter Grant's arrival back from Japan, Jantjies will be the favourite for the Stormers' No 10 jersey.
