Jantjies's Cape move confirmed

2012-10-28 22:10

Cape Town - Lions flyhalf Elton Jantjies's loan move to the Stormers for next year's Super Rugby competition has been confirmed.

Western Province Rugby Union president Thelo Wakefield confirmed the news to the keo.co.za website.

"I approved his contract before the weekend," Wakefield said. "Elton’s inclusion will be a big boost for the team."

It is also well documented that the WP union's aim is to try convince the Springbok flyhalf to extend his stay in Cape Town.

With Demetri Catrakilis off to the Kings and uncertainty regarding Peter Grant's arrival back from Japan, Jantjies will be the favourite for the Stormers' No 10 jersey.

Good luck to the man hope he gets a decent hair dresser down in Cape Town!

All this means is this is his last tour with the Boks.

Lean, can you imagine what will happen if the Stormers and the Sharks play in next year's S15 final? Probably 12 Bulls players in the T4 squad, with BOTH flyhalves of the BB selected!

Nah francois, Don't give HM that much credit, it will be more. Even if the bulls end last below the Kings. That is besides the point though. The point is players who have been bad, have been picked, and the ones playing well for 90% of the year are not there. Where they play is irrelevant, well to most of us. If HM doesn't wake up soon, he is going to end up the worst coach in History.
