Deaf Springbok squad named

Cape Town - The South African Deaf Rugby Invitational squad to tour KwaZulu-Natal during March 2014 has been announced.

In a statement released to the media, the South Africa Deaf Rugby Union (SADRU) said it believes the squad has the potential to develop into a force to be reckoned with in the international deaf rugby world.

“We are extremely excited at the enormous potential in this squad, and look forward to a successful tour. SADRU is grateful to the KZN Rugby Union who has expressed its support for this tour,” said SADRU President Tim Stones.

Mark Barnard (KZN) and Charl Bonthuys (WP) were selected as captain and vice-captain respectively.
