Sharks down Lions to extend lead on top

Cape Town -  The Sharks have cemented their spot on top of the Currie Cup standings after defeating the Golden Lions at Kings Park on Friday evening.

The Sharks won 24-10, after leading 11-0 at half-time.

The home side scored two tries through Thomas du Toit and Odwa Ndungane.

Meanwhile, Curwin Bosch landed a conversion, penalty and a drop goal on a wet and rainy evening in Durban.

The Golden Lions could only manage a single try through Anthony Volmink, as Jaco van der Walt converted the try and landed a penalty.
