Cheetahs lock off to France

Cape Town - Free State Cheetahs lock Armandt Koster has signed a deal with French club Grenoble.

According to Netwerk24, the 27-year-old has signed a two-year deal with Grnoble, who play in the second tier of French rugby, the Pro D2.

Koster will stay with the Cheetahs until the conclusion of their 2017 Currie Cup campaign.

A former Cheetahs forward, Francois Uys, currently plays for Grenoble and Koster said his former team-mate had played a role in Grenoble making him an offer.

Koster had been on Free State’s books since 2011 but in between (2012-2014) also played for their neighbour union, the Griffons.
