Cheetahs change 1 for Sharks tussle

Cape Town - Free State Cheetahs coach Franco Smith has named his team for Saturday’s top-of-the-log Currie Cup clash against the Sharks in Durban.

Smith made one change to the team that beat the EP Kings 57-25 in Bloemfontein last weekend.

Henco Venter will start at No 8 this week, with Niell Jordaan moving to the bench.

Scrumhalf Tian Venter remains as captain, with regular skipper Francois Venter still sidelined with injury.

The Cheetahs remain are the only unbeaten team in the competition, with four wins from as many matches.

The Sharks though still lead the overall standings with 20 points, one ahead of the Cheetahs, but have played one more match.
