Bulls lock out of Currie Cup final

Cape Town - The Blue Bulls will be without influential lock RG Snyman when they tackle the Free State Cheetahs in Saturday’s Currie Cup final in Bloemfontein.

The 21-year-old sustained concussion and a skull fracture in Saturday’s 36-30 semi-final win over Western Province in Pretoria.

According to Netwerk24, Snyman will consult a specialist on Monday and is likely to be operated on.

Marvin Orie and Jason Jenkins are expected to start in the second row in the final, while Jannes Kirsten can also play lock of need be.

Saturday’s Currie Cup final is scheduled for 16:00.
