Bulls confirm Currie Cup coaching team

Cape Town - The Blue Bulls have confirmed their coaching staff for the upcoming Currie Cup Premier Division season.

As reported last month, Nollis Marais will take charge of the team during the campaign.

He will be assisted by Anton Leonard (forwards) and David Manuel (backs). John-William Meyer (technical and kicking coach), Shaun du Toit, Henri-Charl Terblanche (both strength and conditioning) and Pine Pienaar (defence) also form part of the team.

Coaches have also been announced for the union's junior teams. 

The Under-21 team will be coached by Pote Human.

His assistants are Bevin Fortuin (backs), Denzil Frans (forwards), Vainon Willis (technical) and Ghafoer Luckan (strength and conditioning).

The Under-19 team will be coached by Jaco Pienaar, with Dewey Swartbooi (backs), Curtley Prins (technical) and Mark Nicholls (strength and conditioning) rounding out the staff compliment.

Gary Botha was named as scrum and breakdown coach for all sides with Jacus Coetzee in charge of rehabilitation.

The Bulls face Western Province on Friday afternoon at Loftus Versfeld in the opening game of the season.
