Bok boost for Loftus-bound Cheetahs

Cape Town - Free State Cheetahs coach Rory Duncan has named his team for Saturday’s Currie Cup clash against the Blue Bulls in Pretoria.

Duncan has made several changes to the team that went down 30-25 at home to Griquas last weekend.

In the backline, captain Francois Venter returns from the Springbok camp to replace JW Jonker at outside centre.

Sergeal Petersen also moves to the starting line-up, with Rosko Specman moving to the bench.

Up front, Oupa Mohoje is also back from the Bok camp, replacing Henco Venter at flank

Ox Nche also starts at loosehead prop, with Erich de Jager providing cover on the bench, while Tom Botha replaces Aranos Coetzee at tighthead.

Rynier Bernardo replaces Reniel Hugo at lock and Gerhard Olivier comes in for Niell Jordaan in the loose trio.

New to the bench are Dennis Visser and Ali Mgijima, who will both be making their Currie Cup debuts if called upon.
