Beyers back in Bulls camp

Cape Town - Utility back Ulrich Beyers has re-joined the Blue Bulls on a two-week trial period ahead of the Currie Cup Premier Division.

According to Netwerk24, the 25-year-old has requested a return to his old team ahead of the Currie Cup

He played most of his junior rugby under the mentorship of current Bulls coach Nollis Marais.

Beyers, who can play fullback and centre, left the Bulls at the end of the 2014 season and has played for Italian club Zebre in the Celtic Pro12 for the past two years. It is unclear whether he will return to Zebre later this season.

The Bulls start their Currie Cup Premier Division campaign at home against Western Province on Friday, August 5 (17:10 kick-off).
