Who is Lizo Gqoboka?

Cape Town - MyPlayers On The Sidelines features your favourite South African professional rugby players.

This week: EP Kings prop Lizo Gqoboka, who has been called up to train with the Springboks in Cape Town this week.

Gqoboka is one of three young players (along with Western Province duo Nizaam Carr and Seabelo Senatla) who have been invited to train with the national team as they prepare for their Rugby Championship Test against the Wallabies at Newlands on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 17:05.

However, the South African rugby fraternity doesn't know much about the Eastern Cape front-rower.

Watch the video to get to know about his background, how he got into rugby, how he ended up playing for the EP Kings and his future goals.
