Cape Town - Western Province have been boosted by the inclusion of scrumhalf Dewaldt Duvenage in the starting line-up for their Absa Currie Cup clash against the Leopards at Olën Park in Potchefstroom on Friday night.

Duvenage has sufficiently recovered from a leg injury, which ruled him out of the last few weeks of the Stormers' Super Rugby campaign, as well as their first Currie Cup clash against Griquas at Newlands.

He replaces Louis Schreuder - who moves down to the bench - at No 9, while Nick Groom drops out of the match-day 22.

Demetri Catrakilis replaces the injured Gary van Aswegen at flyhalf, while Isma-eel Dollie moves onto the bench as flyhalf cover.

Deon Fourie has retained the captaincy in the absence of the injured Duane Vermeulen. Duvenage will be the vice-captain.
