Sharks wait on Wentzel

Cape Town - The Sharks are likely to be without the services of lock Marco Wentzel who dislocated his shoulder in their 25-19 loss to Western Province last weekend.

According to Sharks team doctor, Alan Kourie, Wentzel will see a specialist this week to determine the extent of the injury.

Wentzel tweeted the following regarding the injury on Saturday night: Dislocated my shoulder. It took 2h 40min to get it back in #notfun

However, good news for the Durbanites is that lock Pieter-Steph du Toit has recovered from injury and could be considered for the trip to Kimberley.

The Sharks take on Griquas in Kimberley this Saturday (15:00 kick-off).
