Sharks name team for PE trip

Durban - Sharks Director of Rugby Gary Gold has named his team for their Currie Cup clash against the EP Kings in Port Elizabeth on Saturday (17:05 kick-off).

The backline which did duty against the Golden Lions at Kings Park last weekend has remained intact following no injury concerns.

Up front, tighthead prop Gerhard Engelbrecht trades places with Thomas du Toit and will gain his first start of the campaign after playing two games off the bench.

It is the only change to the starting XV which lost 31-16 to the Lions.

On the bench, lock JC Astle returns from injury, while exciting young flyhalf prospect Garth April is set for his senior Sharks debut.

Kick-off for Saturday’s clash at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium is scheduled for 17:05.
