Rasta to ref Currie Cup final

Cape Town - Rasta Rasivhenge will referee his first Absa Currie Cup Final between the Golden Lions an Western Province on Saturday in Johannesburg, the South African Rugby Union (SARU) confirmed on Monday.

Kick-off time at Emirates Airline Park, the home of the Golden Lions, is at 13:45. The match will be televised live on SuperSport 1, while the broadcaster will show the finals of the Under 19A and nder-21A competitions live on SS2.

Sindile Ngcese will be in charge of the U19-A final between Eastern Province and the Blue Bulls (09:30), while his SARU colleague Cwengile Jadezweni will officiate the U21-A decider between Western Province and the Free State Cheetahs (11h15).

Rasivhenge will be assisted by Stuart Berry and Jason Jaftha on the sidelines, while Marius Jonker will perform the TMO duties.
