Johannesburg - Pumas coach MJ Mentz kept his side unchanged for their Currie Cup match against the Golden Lions at Ellis Park on Friday (19:10 kick-off).
Mentz persisted with the team that pulled off a 33-24 victory over the Sharks in Nelspruit last weekend.
Last year’s trip to Johannesburg ended in a 29-15 defeat for the Pumas with their playoff ambitions taking a nosedive in the latter stages of the 2014 edition.
Lock Rudi Mathee was a late withdrawal ahead of last week’s match against the Sharks after suffering a shoulder injury which will keep him sidelined for three weeks.
