Johannesburg - Recent recruit Jacques Potgieter has been included in the Blue Bulls team to play Western Province in their Currie Cup clash at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
Potgieter, who joined the Pretoria outfit earlier this month, will earn a first start at flank in place of Warwick Tecklenburg in the only change to the side which drew with the Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein last weekend.
Coach Pine Pienaar said he was looking for Potgieter's abrasive play on attack to help his side get back to their winning ways.
"Jacques is a strong ball carrier and I am looking forward to his contributions," said Pienaar.
"We will have to be very accurate in all phases though and defence will also have to be a big focus against Western Province.
"They do use the ball well and whoever dominates the collisions, will probably win the game. We need to play hard and play clever."
