Minor niggles for Lions

Cape Town - The high-flying Golden Lions have minor injury concerns as they prepare to face Griquas in a Currie Cup clash in Johannesburg on Saturday.

It is the last round of matches before the semi-finals, with the unbeaten Lions are already assured of top spot on the log.

After thumping Western Province 62-32 at home last weekend, the Lions medical staff reported minor injuries.

Midfielders Howard Mnisi (hamstring) and Rohan Janse van Rensburg (shoulder) were injured but should be ready to face Griquas.

Hooker Mark Pretorius (knee) and lock MB Lusaseni (shoulder) should also be up for selection again.

Saturday’s clash at Ellis Park is scheduled for 14:00.
