Lions ring changes for Bulls

Johannesburg - Golden Lions coach Johan Ackermann has made several changes to his team to take on the Blue Bulls at Ellis Park on Saturday (17:05 kick-off).

Among the forwards, hooker Robbie Coetzee is promoted to the starting line-up in place of Willie Wepener, while prop Ruan Dreyer and lock Stephan Greeff replace Bees Roux and Ruan Venter respectively.

Ackermann also re-shuffled his loose trio, with Jaco Kriel replacing Willie Britz and skipper Derick Minnie moving from the side of the scrum to No 8.

In the backline, Ross Cronjé will start at scrumhalf in place of Tian Meyer, with Deon Helberg also moving into the starting side at outside centre, replacing the injured Robert de Bruyn.
