Lions make changes for Durban trip

Johannesburg - Golden Lions head coach Johan Ackermann has announced his team to face the Sharks in a Currie Cup clash in Durban on Saturday.

Ackermann has made several changes to the team that beat the Pumas 43-27 at Ellis Park last weekend.

Up front, there are four changes. Ruan Dreyer and Robbie Coetzee move into the starting line-up at loosehead prop and hooker respectively, while at lock MB Lusaseni also moves into the starting side and Kwagga Smith will start at flank.

In the backline, Stokkies Hanekom will start in the place of injured centre Harold Vorster, while Jaco van der Walt starts at fullback, shifting Ruan Combrinck to right wing.

Saturday’s clash at Kings Park is scheduled for 17:05.
