Lions change two for Sharks

Johannesburg - Golden Lions coach Johan Ackermann made two changes to the team which beat the Bulls 35-26 last weekend, for their Currie Cup clash against the Sharks at Ellis Park on Friday (19:10 kick-off).

Chris van Zyl will start at lock, while Warren Whiteley has recovered from his hip injury to start at No 8.

The backline remains unchanged.

Willie Britz returned from his shoulder strain and will provide cover on the bench together with Grant Janke, who has also been drafted in as a replacement.

15 Marnitz Boshoff, 14 Andries Coetzee, 13 Deon Helberg, 12 Dylan Des Fountain, 11 Anthony Volmink, 10 Elton Jantjies, 9 Ross Cronjé, 8 Warren Whiteley, 7 Derick Minnie (captain), 6 Jaco Kriel, 5 Franco van der Merwe, 4 Chris van Zyl, 3 Ruan Dreyer, 2 Robbie Coetzee, 1 CJ van der Linde.

Substitutes: 16 Willie Wepener, 17 Jacques van Rooyen, 18 Willie Britz, 19 Warwick Tecklenberg, 20 Guy Cronjé, 21 Grant Janke, 22 Ruhan Nel
